I have a dumb question re: publishing corp...
by new22day inmany of you refer to wts as a rich publishing corp. since the mags they pass out are free i don't understand how they make money from them?

Dont forget there were the glory days for the Wt before they went 'free'.
but even since then, anything they print goes instant 7 million seller.
the glory days of Knorrs business building and franz's frenzy paid for for most of what they bought or built in property and no doubt the large investments that they have as well.

Is it the GB's plan to NOT explain the nu FDS lite?
by outsmartthesystem inperhaps i am overthinking this.......but i may have come to the conclusion that the gb's refusal to address and explain in detail all of the changes mentioned at the 2012 annual meeting is in and of itself.....their final explanation.
from what i have gathered by speaking discreetly with those that are still "in" but on the fringe.......the information given at the 2012 meeting meant practically nothing to most jws.
in fact.....most are still completely unaware of the changes.

it has become more and more evident to me that it really is a cult you know.
one does not have to plan and make strategy to leave a bonafide religion.
i wish you well, you have already tipped their hand, they know. raising 1914, 1919, generation etc is an automatic red flag, i would think you should have known that as an elder though. You dont have to be causght talking to anyone. THOUGHT CRIME is enough.
the CO will tell them what to do.

I believe we will see and hear more and more recorded JC (at least until the elders do strip searches at the behest of the GB)

if both parties stopped dancing around what both parties KNOW will be the crux, they will last all of 2 minutes...
Not ever having had that sort of JC, i find these, although facinating, to be tad embarressing for the elders and the accused. The accused will try to prove a point that they already know will make no difference, the elders try to look interested in the views but they are not in the slightest. They need to boil it down to the nitty griity asap as well.
By the time the JC took place the kid had 80 youtubes up...pretty obvious where he stood
I mean no disrespect to those who have to go through a JC for finding the truth about the truth...

interesting subject that maybe one day i will look at more, for now it just seems to far out.
if the free masons were/are going to be the new world oder i would surmize that are well past their use by date.
Out here in country australia, one towns freemason lodge is nothing but a historical display in a museam, in my little town its few old men farmers who mostly are drunk a good portion of the time and dont even have a meeting place other than a comunity hall...
